Community Participation Supports (CPS)
Individuals participate in community-based social, recreational, educational, and volunteering opportunities based on their personal goals, strengths, and abilities.
People with disabilities will achieve their personal goals to engage and participate in community-based activities and programming.
To support people with disabilities to identify their personal interests and explore community-based opportunities that match their interests.
To provide support to individuals to develop and achieve community-based goals.
To promote an inclusive community where all are welcome and all abilities are celebrated and appreciated.
Who Do We Support?
Individuals who access Community Participation Supports have a variety of strengths and abilities, all of which are accommodated through the development of Individual Support Plans.
How to Access CPS
Community Participation Supports can be accessed in one of two ways:
Developmental Services Ontario can determine eligibility for provincial funding to access these supports during transition to adult services
Participation can be purchased at any time using alternate funding sources, such as PASSPORT
