Giving Tuesday - December 2, 2025

Each year Community Living Kincardine and District (CLKD) participates in Giving Tuesday, a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities, and the world.

The ActiveLiving55+ program helps adults 55+ in our community stay socially, mentally, and physically active through workshops, events, and community activities. Participants enjoy fitness sessions, creative workshops, guest speakers, and skill-building opportunities — all designed to foster connection, personal growth, and a sense of purpose. Since launching in February 2025, ActiveLiving55+ has provided over 100 events, reaching over 1300 adults aged 55+ in our community - reducing social isolation, boosting confidence, and strengthening community engagement amongst participants.

On December 2nd, #GivingTuesdayCA, CLKD will be raising funds to help enhance ActiveLiving55+ programming for all adults over 55 in our community. Your donation will allow us to enhance the meaningful opportunities we provide, bringing the benefits of ActiveLiving55+ to even more adults over 55.

Giving Tuesday donations will be generously matched up to $2,000 by Jennifer Cook and Associates, The Co-operators.
