In response to COVID-19, Giving Tuesday announced "a Day of Global Action for Giving and Unity” which will occur on May 5th, 2020.
As a result of the current world situation and physical distancing protocols, Community Living Kincardine and District’s (CLKD) largest fund-raising events and initiatives have been cancelled for 2020. CLKD relies on the funds generated from donations and fundraising to continue to offer the additional, non-funded programs and services our community members rely on. These programs and services provide inclusive opportunities for building social and life skills such as baking, cooking, and public speaking, support individuals living with a developmental disability as they seek employment, provide support to high school students with a developmental disability in pursuing their career path or post secondary opportunity, supporting individuals to participate in the community, and much, much more.
