Christmas is fast approaching and we kicked off with an early celebration by hosting our annual Skate with Santa and friends.
Santa Claus embarked on a magical journey Dec 1st to skate with all the families and children of Kincardine. Mrs. Claus, not being a skater, ran her own workshop of Christmas crafts and cookie decorating. Kindergym was also in full swing with running, jumping and tumbling to Christmas music.
CLKD has been running this community Christmas event at the Davidson Centre for 10 years now, with some fun additions and growth along the way! Every year we look for ways to make it even more fun for the Kincardine area, and are thrilled to see even more community members join in on the fun each time!
With so many new families joining us to celebrate, it truly gives CLKD an opportunity to give back to those who support us all year. An added bonus is that it allows us to share awareness of our agency and the importance of inclusion for all. After all, a sense of belonging to a greater community improves your motivation, health, and happiness.
We would like to thank all the families and children who have participated in our event over the years and hope you will continue to help us make it a success in the future.
