We are launching ActiveLiving55+ programming and services at the Legion October 23rd and working on securing space at the Davidson Center as we continue to bridge gaps in support and services for people 55+.
Our current schedule at the Kincardine Legion, 219 Lambton street, is as follows:
October 23, 2024, 10:30am -12:00pm: Intentional Community with speaker Jane Hoy from CLKD
October 30, 2024, 10:30am -12:00pm: Fall Prevention with guest speaker Brianna Yuill from the Kincardine Family Health Team
November 6, 2024, 10:30am -12:00pm: Wills and Power of Attorney with Angela Yenssen from the Grey-Bruce Community Legal Clinic
November 13, 2024, 10:30am -12:00pm: Aging Well in Grey Bruce with Sarah Steves from the Grey Bruce Ontario Health Team
November 20, 2024, 10:30am -12:00pm: Fraud & Scams & Safety with Constable Matthew Thorpe from the South Bruce OPP
November 27, 2024, 2:00 - 3:30pm: Dementia Friendly Communities with Sandra Hong from the Alzheimer Society Grey Bruce *Please note the time change for this event.
