Dwayne and Katrina started their window washing business, D & K Window Washing, in September of 2019. The Community Living Kincardine and District's JobsWork program was able to connect them to several businesses who were requesting this service, and they felt this would be a great way to earn some income, get out of the house, interact with people downtown and get some exercise. Dwayne and Katrina have been steadily growing their business ever since adding new clients as word of mouth spreads on their excellent work.
Even with the Downtown Dig making accessibility tricky at times they are out, without fail, every single week making the downtown windows shine for all of their clients. They take great pride in a job well done and hope to continue growing their business for many years to come.
